What do you do at DDA?
This year at DDA, I am teaching the Junior and Teen Recreational Ballet classes.

What led you to work in this field?
I began dancing at the age of three. For the past eight years, I have been a dance educator in Edmonton, Alberta teaching a variety of different styles. During this time, I have taught in studios, choreographed full-scale musicals for various theatre programs with Edmonton Public Schools, and created guest pieces for shows performing at the Fringe Festival. I am ADAPT Tap and Jazz certified, have a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Psychology, and am now actively working towards a Bachelor of Education at the University of Alberta. Recently, I have begun to work on projects that involve combining dance and film.

Tap and Ukrainian Dance

Best thing of being part of the DDA team?
The best thing about being part of the DDA team is the friendly and supportive atmosphere. 

What is a fun fact about you?
In my spare time, I like to refurbish furniture!

Where do we find you when you are not working?
When I am not working, I can be found either studying at the library, or exploring the dog park with my two fur babies!

What are you excited about for the new dance season?
This dance season, I am excited for our students to have a variety of new and exciting opportunities to perform out in the community!
