What is something that you want to fix in your industry?
I understand that affordability is tough for some families. I was fortunate enough to never run into affording dance growing up, however I know lots of students who want to try every style of dance and aren’t able to because of expenses. It makes me sad to watch dancers have to give up some styles that they love to afford the other few. I understand things have a price tag on them to keep things running and pay the hardworking teachers. I just wish there was a solution to allow everyone a chance to try it all!!

Your advice to younger dancers?
My biggest piece of advice is to take advantage of the fact that dance provides you a break from all the craziness happening in life. Use dance to express your emotions when you are happy, sad or angry and leave everything on the dance floor!
