Age Group: 18 month-6 years

Prerequisites:     0-1yr exp, Must be 6-7yrs & in Gr 1 or 2 for school

The dancer will learn basic tap steps that are combined with singing and movement to create a theatrical routine! This class prepares the dancer for either the recreational stream or the Junior Competitive Team the following year.

Recital/Costume:     The instructor will pick which style of discipline will be performed in our annual recital and will require a costume.

Prerequisites:   Must be 5 yrs old, going into Kindergarten.

This class is for Kindergarten students.  The dancers receive more comprehensive vocabulary of Ballet steps plus explore the rhythms of Tap dancing for timing and coordination.  This is an upbeat class that suits the attention span of this age.  The class will be taught approx. 20 min for each discipline.

Prerequisites:     Must be 4 yrs old, PreKinder age

This class is for Pre-K students.  We will begin to phase out creative imagery to increase technical and dance vocabulary for steps.  It is based on ballet technique with a little jazz flare to music they enjoy.

Recital/Costume:     This class does participate in our year end recital and will require a costume.

30 min/week              Age 3              First Steps              Full Year Program

Prerequisites:    Must be 3 yrs, toilet trained within the year

Dancers participate on their own.  Combines creative movement and story line based activities to introduce these children to dance and to develop gross motor skills.
