1 hour            Age 18+              Adult Class              Full Year Program

Prerequisites:    Previously danced at DDA as an Int or Sen competitive dancer and/or faculty.

Open to former competitive dancers from DDA and/or faculty. This class will allow former dancers to reignite their love for dance! This class will use technique as a pathway to fluid and powerful expression and integrate principals of a variety of contemporary dance practices, such as the use of weight, suspension, breath, energy, and musicality

Recital/Costume:    This class will compete in 3-4 competitions, the annual recital and require a costume.

Dance Wear:   Please refer to Dance Attire for required dance wear for this class.

1 hour/week              Age 9-13              Competitive Edge              Full Year Program

Prerequisites:    Enrolled in Ballet Jr3C, Jr4C, Int2C levels

A combination of jazz and ballet – Lyrical combines many elements of classical ballet with the freedom of jazz.  Most lyrical dance pieces are performed to music where the choreography tells a story to the lyrics.

Recital/Costume:     Lyrical C classes perform a routine in our annual recital and will require a costume.

Dance Wear:     Please refer to Dance Attire for required dance wear for this class.

1 hour/week              Age 7-11              Recreational              Full Year Program

Prerequisites:     0-6yrs exp, go according to age

Our dancers learn the different styles of Hip Hop in a fast paced, high energy class! We have recreational Hip Hop classes available for every age and level.

Recital/Costume:     These classes perform a routine in our annual recital and will require a costume.

Dance Wear:     Please refer to Dance Attire for required dance wear for this class.
