Dance Type: Ballet

Prerequisites:     Dancers must be approved by a teacher for these classes.

Ballet Tech classes are mandatory for all C level students except Novice Team & younger groups. Tech C level classes are full year training structured syllabus classes where students learn to have a strong foundation of proper alignment, strength, flexibility and coordination.

Recital/Costume:      This is a non performing class and no costume is required.

Prerequisites: Dancers must be approved by a teacher for these classes. All competitive dancers except Novice team must enroll in Ballet Tech levels first before taking any Choreo levels.

This is a performing class that will be entered into competitions and our year end recital.  What students learn in their Tech classes will be applied to their dance by way of a Character or Classical style.

Recital/Costume:     Ballet Choreo level classes perform a routine in our annual recital and will require a costume.

Prerequisites:   Must be 5 yrs old, going into Kindergarten.

This class is for Kindergarten students.  The dancers receive more comprehensive vocabulary of Ballet steps plus explore the rhythms of Tap dancing for timing and coordination.  This is an upbeat class that suits the attention span of this age.  The class will be taught approx. 20 min for each discipline.

Recital/Costume:     The instructor will pick which style of discipline will be performed in our annual recital and will require a costume.

Prerequisites:     Must be 4 yrs old, PreKinder age

This class is for Pre-K students.  We will begin to phase out creative imagery to increase technical and dance vocabulary for steps.  It is based on ballet technique with a little jazz flare to music they enjoy.

Recital/Costume:     This class does participate in our year end recital and will require a costume.
