Describe your job in 3 words!
Creative, adaptive, enlightening

What do you do at DDA?
I teach Double Threat B, Mini Movers, Jazz Jr 2, and DDA Short Term programs!

What led you to work in this field?
I began dancing at DDA when I was 4 years old and over the years I fell in love with it. When I was 13 I was asked to join the STEP team to become a student teacher. Through student teaching I discovered I really enjoyed teaching as well as dancing, so when I was approached with an offer to teach my own class I accepted!

Did you have a favorite style of dance growing up?
It’s hard to pick just one style but my top would have to be jazz!

When did you join DDA?
I started dancing at DDA in 2007 and I became a teacher in 2021.

Best thing of being part of the DDA team?
The DDA team is an extremely wonderful group of people who are supportive, welcoming, and we can always rely on each other.

What is a fun fact about you?
I didn’t do my first solo until I was 15!

Where do we find you when you are not working?
When I’m not at work I like to grab bubble tea with my friends!

What are you excited about for the new dance season?
I am excited to meet all the new dancers joining us this year and to see my students from the previous year!
