What do you do at DDA?
I teach adult tap and jazz.

What led you to work in this field?
I started dancing in Calgary when I was five. Grew up dancing in all fields competitively. I love all dance, but tap has always been my favourite. After my young competitive days were over I danced and choreographed for Encorps Dance Collective for a few years. I moved to Edmonton for university and joined up to dance in the adult tap and hip hop at DDA. Now I am teaching! 

Did you have a favorite style of dance growing up?
Tap is number 1!!

2023

Best thing of being part of the DDA team?
DDA is all about the love of dance! 

What is a fun fact about you?
I’m also a chef! 

Where do we find you when you are not working?
Hanging with my kids. 

Your advice to young dancers?
It’s not about being the best, it’s about having the most fun! Dance is all about love!
