These COMBO classes are for 6-year-olds that we feel would be a great fit in the competitive stream. Dancers will attend two 1-hour classes per week: one focused on Tap/Hip Hop and the other on Ballet/Jazz. Students in this program will learn and perform three routines—Hip Hop, Tap, and Jazz—at two competitions and the year-end recital.

Requirements: Must be registered in both classes to participate

Tap/Hip Hop: 1 hour per week
Regular attendance, attention and good behavior required

Ballet/Jazz: 1 hour per week
Regular attendance, attention and good behavior required

Recital/Costume:  This class performs a routine in our annual recital and will require costumes.

Class Schedule & Online Registration

1 hour/bi-weekly      Age 13-19      Commitment runs October-May

Prerequisites: ADD-ON class. Must be registered in Contemporary Sen2C-Sen3C.

For our senior dancers. Our hope is to combine as many dancers as possible from the 2 senior groups. Combining these
groups will create both a memorable dance and some wonderful memories for the dancers! This group will incorporate the
skills that they have learned from their years of contemporary dance along with innovative choreography that can only be
done with large groups.

  • Dancers must commit to attending FRIDAY classes bi-weekly. May include long weekends.
  • Attendance is of utmost importance. No more than 2 absences for this class.
  • A contract will be given that will outline the expectations for each line group.
  • This group will compete in 4 festivals (entry fees are extra).
  • This group will perform in the annual recital.
  • A costume will be required. (Costume fees are extra)
  • There will be a one-time payment of $150 to join. Payment will be applied to you account upon signing agreement in
    September.
  •  No refunds given if dancer drops the class once the first class starts

Classes will start Friday, October 10.

Registration: Those interested in joining any of our SPECIALS are welcome to express interest by email or in person once classes commence. You will receive an informational letter and contract. Once the signed contract is submitted, the office will register you into the SPECIAL(S) of your choosing. You may choose multiple SPECIALS to join.

45 min/week              Age 4-5              First Steps/Competitive Edge              Full Year Program

This new class will provide our young dancers the opportunity to perform their dance at one competition, in a positive environment! All dancers will have the chance to see what it is like to experience a competition, while earning a “future star” medal. There are no placements for these age groups. All dancers receive the same award. Regular attendance, attention and good behavior are required to participate. Participation in this class does not guarantee placement in future competition levels/classes.

Note: This class is a trial. If it is successful, we will look at adding more ages/levels in future seasons!

Prerequisites:

Future Stars Ballet    4 yrs    45 min
Regular attendance, attention and good behavior required

Future Stars Tap/Ballet    5 yrs    45 min
Regular attendance, attention and good behavior required

Recital/Costume:     This class performs a routine in our annual recital and will require a costume.

Prerequisites:    Enrolled in Ballet Jr3C, Jr4C, Int2C levels

A combination of jazz and ballet – Lyrical combines many elements of classical ballet with the freedom of jazz.  Most lyrical dance pieces are performed to music where the choreography tells a story to the lyrics.

Recital/Costume:     Lyrical C classes perform a routine in our annual recital and will require a costume.
