Describe your job in 3 words!
Important to me.

What do you do at DDA?
I am responsible for our DDA website, our DDA app as well as communication like newsletters, social media, etc. I work part-time from home, so unfortunately, I don’t get to be at the studio often.

What led you to work in this field?
I have a degree in business administration and worked in organizational development and marking before I had my children. My first contact with DDA was when I registered my daughter for dance lessons. The experience of being a client and completely new to dance before I started working for DDA still helps me to look at things from a customer’s perspective.

When did you join DDA?
2016

Best thing of being part of the DDA team?
I love the positive energy at DDA. The studio feels like family – warm, safe – with room to make mistakes and grow.

What is a fun fact about you?
I grew up in Germany doing horseback riding and working as a professional horse trainer. Choreographing my own ‘kur’ (dressage riding with music) always felt to me like dancing with my horse!

Where do we find you when you are not working?
At some sports field, dance festival, ski hill or tennis court! We love sports in our family and love to cheer for each other and being active together.

Your advice to younger dancers?
Learning any new skill takes time and dance is a pretty tough one. Don’t get frustrated if things don’t come easily to you. It’s important to be kind and patient with yourself, but be persistent, a good listener and enjoy the little steps and you’ll find happiness and reach your goals:)
