BARBIE SUMMER CAMPS  (Ages 4-11)
July 15-19, 2024

AM CAMP (Ages 4-6):  9 am – 12 pm
Welcome to Barbie Camp, where jazz, ballet, and creative movement blend into a Barbie-tastic tale! Dive into a whirlwind of Malibu Beach, Ice Cream, Astronaut Barbie, Baker Barbie, Pop Star, and Fashionista adventures. Get ready for daily crafts matching our themes, enchanting Barbie story time, playful games, and catchy sing-alongs.

PM CAMP (Ages 7-11):  12:30 – 3:30 pm
Our afternoon camp is exclusively reserved for children aged 7-11, where we will delve into Barbie-inspired concepts within the Lyrical genre. Participants will engage in a craft related to the theme covered in their Lyrical class, along with additional Barbie-themed activities offered in the morning.

Both camps will wrap up with a dazzling performance where campers will showcase their dances and artworks to their families and friends!

Prerequisites: 6-8yrs jazz exp, no ballet required

A fast paced, high energy class that focuses on kicks, turns, jumps and other stylized steps. Balance, flexibility and strength will be worked on and improved in a fun and age appropriate manner. We have a rec Jazz class for every age whether you are experienced or beginner!

Recital/Costume:     All rec jazz classes perform a routine in our annual recital and will require a costume.

Dance Wear:     Please refer to Dance Attire for required dance wear for this class.

45 min/ 6 weeks           Age 5 – 7            Short Term Program

Prerequisites:     None

Exciting fun filled combo classes for boys and girls who want to discover what dance is all about. Children will be introduced to jazz, ballet, and hip hop and styles will change every 2 weeks.  By exploring different dance styles students can find out which one they like the best.

Recital/Costume:     This 6 week program is offered 5 times a year with no performance in our annual recital.

Dance Wear:     Please refer to Dance Attire for required dance wear for this class.
